If you're looking for an RC Basher, one with power, strength and speed. I've pre ordered this twin charger (but I can change it):īut I'm on a steep learning curve - Am I right in thinking although this charger is 100w total, it is only 50w per side when charging two batteries? BUT that is when on AC power.Traxxas E-Revo 2.0 1/10 VXL 6S Brushless - Purple If you're patient have a look for something from Banggood or Tomtop (China based) ![]() If you're on a budget and want simple plug/play maybe go for 2 of these: Able to cope with 1C charging.Ī 50w 5A won't cut it with a 3s (read about ohms law) You'd be flat out even at a rate of only 4A and it will pop in no time You want either 2 chargers (one for each) or a decent twin.Īlso you want a minimum of 80w 5A if you want it to last a fair while. In my view it's only worth bothering with electric if you can charge both batteries simultaneously and not one after the other. I wouldn't say 1C charging (1hr) is exactly fast. Many many thanks in advance for all your help. Maybe a charger from Hobbyking European warehouse might be the way to go? I live in Ireland so everything will need posting there. I plan on trying to really look after the health of the batteries as a rule so not interested in fast charging, but the rest of charger options, I don't know what I'm looking for to be honest! Any help would be much appreciated. My question today is this: If I get these batteries can anyone recommend a decent quality charger for them? I'm a little lost as to what I'm looking for. Weight: 442g (including wire, plug & case) Regarding batteries, I've narrowed down my choice to these: So I now think I'll get the Revo from Wheelspin or Modelsport and get batteries and charger from Hobbyking. Thought this was going to be easier but for the last few weeks I've been trying to educate myself on Lipo's.Īnyway with this in mind I thought it would be easier to go with Traxxas batteries and charger and originally looked at a package deal from Wheelspin but as they don't have the 5000mah Traxxas batteries in stock (currently trying to offer Traxxas 4000mah) and from what I've read I can get better value Lipos if I go aftermarket, I've tried to educate myself on Lipo's. So after much deliberation I'm going electric. I've owned a nitro revo but not had it out for years due to getting Nitro fuel in Ireland is nearly impossible. ![]() I'm super excited as I'm about to purchase a new E-Revo 2.0. I'm new to this site and this is my first post. ![]()
